Worthless
She knew it would come to this
She kept it all in side her
Now she's breaking down in silence
The howling wind as she runs, her only audience
This feeling creeping up on her
Self loathing and hate running so deep
God why did you have to make me like this
What did I ever do to you she screams
The rumbling thunder answers
As the rain drops on her face
The water mixes with her tears as she cries softly
The sound drowned out by the rain on d roof
Remembering all the hurtful comments she broke down and sobbed
Falling on her knees as her heart lurches foward
Silently wishing she could end all this pain
Silence all the self doubt with just one slash of the blade
Or mercifully wiped out by a disease or a plague
But she's not that lucky
Shivering from the cold, she steps back in the warmth of her home
A place were love is supposed to flow
I suppose she can't blame them for their crude jokes
But can't they see that she would never have chosen to be this way
Wrapping herself in a warm blanket she doesn't deserve
She slides down the door, her demons whispering loudly without reserve
Wiping hee face of any lingering tears she rose
Feeling liberated, yet hating her worthless self ever the more
