Sandcastle Love
Beautiful and tall
Standing proud, looking strong
That was the tale of our love
But the wave of lies and mistrust reached the shore
Held at bay for so long
Now on everything I had it wreaked havoc
Destroyed all we'd built in a flash
Receding it left our tower short
Washed away our future
Together we shouted as we built it up
But now all that is gone
Claimed by your sea of deciet
Smashed by the weight of your pride
Leveled by the wave of your anger
I thought we'd survive longer
But our foundation was like that of a toddler
Setting up to build a sand castle
Piling up Sand like we did our trust preparing for the incoming battle
Now our castle's toppled over
All that's left is sorrow in the rubble
Mixed with the tears from the heart broken
I grab my pale n begin digging
To get the materials needed to start building
A love with tall walls for fortifying
Against the wave of ur painful love
For its built on my pain n there's no better anchor
Situated far away from your shore
Away from the onslaught of ur words
To pelt against and Crack my walls
And never again shall my castle fall
For now it's built on pain's jagged rocks
