Dream

Stop!!! I screamed loud and clear
Piercing and true everyone can hear
Turning around no one was there
Just my mind trying to give me a scare
A loud pang sounds
I waste no time in turning around
Like a shadow there but not really there stalking through the night I saw him
His eyes glinting mischief, his smile like pure sin calling out to me
Breaking contact I ran as a feeling of dread spread within
Who was he this man in my dreams
Days full of thoughts and concerns of how he came to be
Feeling a hand on my shoulder I jump
Startled beyond belief I try again to run
But he pulled me roughly to his chest and said
"learn to trust" and with that he fled
Leaving me alone and confused on what he meant
