#him
He watched as I walked to the door
Averting his eyes from my gaze he stared at the floor
Trying to ignore the cracks and sparks that keeps us wanting more
Trying to ignore the pleading look in his eyes and loves well disguised lure
Tired of reveling in our past glory
When our present is dark and gory
He walked towards me wordlessly, expression unreadable
I braced myself for the onslaught, trying not to tremble
It never came, pressing his forehead to mine he said
"don't flatter yourself breaking you was the only reason I stayed"
Strangling a gasp I backed up, clutching my torso as my eyes balled
Memories flashing as understanding dawned
Running out of the room with tears streaming down my face
Hearing his laugh behind me I lowered my pace
Wiping my tears I shook my head
I'm not going to let this go I said to myself
Stalking back to the room I racked my gaze over him
Startled he stepped back noticing the defiant tilt to my chin
Walking over I spat out
You messed with the wrong girl I ground out
Keep your eyes peeled and your ears alert
Cos I'll be back to destroy your cold dead heart
